| The PRICOM
7000 simultaneously functions as Print servers, Print Spooler,
USB Scanner server, and DHCP/DNS server. With (2) two USB
2.0 A-type interface and one (1) parallel interface, it can
control up to 5 printers (1 parallel printer and 4 printers
with USB interfaces with a USB hub), or 2 USB printers without
a hub, or 1 printer and 1 scanner over the network. |

The specification of the hub determines
the USB device support. A USB 2.0 hub will only support USB
2.0 devices and a USB 1.0 hub will only support 1.1 devices. |

In addition to reliable, high-speed,
auto-sensing 10 Base-T / 100 Base-TX network printing support,
the PRICOM 7000 can remotely optimize multiple print jobs
across the networked printers via a Web browser utilizing
its large data print job spooling capability. |

Multi-port Print servers
As a USB master device, the PRICOM 7000 allows networking
a parallel printer and up to 4 USB printers via installing
a USB hub. |

Print Job Control*
The spooled print jobs can be remotely managed allowing
the user to delete the print job; redirect the print
job to other idle or preferred printers, or alternatively
change the print job priority making the most of your
network printer resources. |

Broadcast printing*
One print job can be directed simultaneously to multiple
networked printers at the same time. This feature will
speed up large volume printing in a time saving manner
by sharing the workload across multiple printers. This
is ideal for small commercial printing facilities, in-house
publishing departments or simply to shorten the print
time of any job.
*The function is available only between the printers
of same model. |

Popup Printer Status monitoring
The PRICOM 7000 monitors for and instantly alerts the
network administrator to a variety of defined printer
error conditions via a pop up window message. |

INSTANT
NETWORK SCANNER ENABLER
USB-network driver
original USB-Ethernet connection driver can instantly put
your USB scanner on the network as a shared resource. Now
allow anyone to connect to the scanner without having to dedicate
a PC to the scanner. The scanned data is accessible across
the network as if the user were sitting at the scanner workstation.
All the scanner's functionality is available to the "connected"
user.

DHCP
/ DNS SERVER
The PRICOM 7000
is enabled to provide the functions of a DHCP server and DNS
server. Is there a dedicated PC resource providing this function?
Free up the PC resource by allowing the 7000 to administer
the DHCP and DNS functions. The 7000 will support automatic
IP address assignment (Dynamic/Static) and domain name configuration
for up to 20 network clients. This is an ideal solution for
the home, small office or where fixed IP addresses need to
be conserved. |
